* This school is a great place to meet both teachers and tourists. Each teacher is able to provide insider knowledge about the city and surrounding areas. Doing the course for one week has given me the confidence to travel throughout Central America speaking Spanish and meeting mexican people. I highly recommend this experience. The school is able to taylor your course to your specific requests depending on your Spanish Level and what you want to learn.

My experience at this school was incredible. I thought Rogelio was so friendly, welcoming and was willing to accommodate me if ever I needed a change!!
I learned so much in 3 weeks and I am very sad to be leaving. I only had Sandra and Celso as teachers and I feel very lucky!! I really like them both a lot as teachers and friends. It was really nice to come to school everyday and converse with such nice caring and patient people. I like Marco too!!

My instructors Zoraida and Héctor provided me with an excellent combination of grammar/tenses and conversation. Both were excellent at gradually introducing new vocabulary and verbs as part of the teaching process. My original intention was to take a one week refresher in Spanish. After the first week, I felt that given the progress of this week, I wanted to take a second week of classes. Again, after the second week, I had been making substantial progress and I wanted to return for a third week of lessons. In general, I feel like I got more out of three weeks here than I learned in four semesters of University Spanish.

- I thought all of my teachers did well in each class. It was a good experience. I think classes taught me as much as I could learn in one week.

- The teachers are great, patient and extremely friendly. They encourage us in practical yet fun ways to improve. I loved meeting new teachers who shared their favorite places to shop, eat or sight see. I also enjoyed meeting the students for the same reasons. The atmosphere is friendly and the classes are small enough(3 to 5 students) which allows us to all participate and learn in a great environment. Excellent!! I would recommend this school to anyone! everyone of all ages and nationalities.

- A small school like Amigos del Sol has many advantages. Immediately you feel at home. The teachers and director really get to know you and care about making your experience a good one. The fellow students are easy to connect with, and I especially appreciated this as I was traveling solo. The small classes allowed lots of interactive learning. The school has obviously screened the families well for the homestays. This was a great experience!!

- I really enjoyed getting my first ideas of the Spanish Language in a small sympatic school. Classes and teachers are very good and organized.

- In four weeks, I feel I got exactly what I needed, the right combination of grammar, spoken usage and practice at the level where I was. The teachers are knowledgeable, and they clearly have both training and experience. They are also patient, humorous, encouraging, informative and interested in what the students have to say. I appreciated the flexibility in adapting the material to student´s interests or needs.
